PDF to Word: questions and answers
Will the Word document keep the formatting?
Yes. Headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, pictures, fonts, colours and alignment carry over, as Word’s own styles and tables — so the document stays easy to edit rather than being a page of positioned boxes.
Can I convert a scanned PDF to Word?
Yes. Turn on “Recognise text on scanned pages (OCR)” and the scan is read first, then written as editable paragraphs.
