Do I need to install a PDF reader?
No. The viewer runs in any modern browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iPhone and iPad.
Can I search inside the PDF?
Yes. Press Ctrl+F or the search button to find words across every page, with each match highlighted. Scanned documents need OCR first to make their text searchable.
Are my files uploaded?
No. pdf-m8 processes documents in your browser, on your own device. Files are never sent to a server, so confidential documents stay private.
